The GROWTH Plan is funded through several responsible and sustainable mechanisms that keep total IRS revenue unchanged:
- Reducing or retiring federal housing programs whose roles diminish as Americans directly fund their own housing needs.
- Allocating a portion of new tariff revenues, recognizing that tariffs disproportionately impact lower-income workers and should be repurposed to support housing affordability.
- Forcing Congress to eliminate or scale back outdated or duplicative programs, redirecting those dollars toward solving the national housing affordability crisis rather than protecting entrenched special interests.
- Consolidating and aligning the efforts of cities, states, corporations, and organizations (for profit and non profit) that already incentivize or contribute to affordable housing, ensuring that these investments are placed into the GROWTH Plan accounts so they work together instead of in silos.
